WHY YOU HAVE TO WATCH PHONE SWAP NIGERIAN MOVIE -EZINNE EZE

This is a Nigerian comedy drama movie, written by Kemi Adesoye, produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan with Golden Effects studios production company.

It was shot in Lagos and released on 30th March 2012 nationwide. It made use of English, Yoruba, Igbo and Twi languages. It also received 4 nominations at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards which includes the category 'Best Nigerian Film' and won the award Achievement in Production Design.

Starring: Nse Etim Ikpe, Wale Ojo, Joke Silva, Chika Okpala, Lydia Forson, Hafeez Oyetoro, Sophia Chioma Onyekwo

It narrates the story of Mary (Nse Etim Ikpe), who is a talented fashion designer and works under a very strict boss, Alexis (Sophia Chioma Onyekwo) who always takes credit for her designs. Mary has to go to the village because of her sister, Cynthia (Ada Ameh) who has a marital problem.
Akin (Wale Ojo) on the other hand, is bossy, always at loggerhead with his colleagues and distants himself from people around him. He does not get along with his mother (Joke Sylvia) and his girlfriend, Gina (Lydia Forson). His boss shuts him out of knowing the venue of a company retreat as to his behaviour, but with the help of his assistant,  Alex (Hafeez Oyetoro) he finds out the venue of the retreat.
At the airport, Akin and Mary bump into each other, and in the process of gathering their stuff, they both got their blackberry phones mixed up, leading to their phones being swapped. This leads to an exchange in their destinations, due to both Mary's friend at work and Akin's assistant are both named Alex, so texts coming and going misleads Akin. Then Akin asks Mary to stay in his mother's house at Abuja and he also finds himself at Mary's father's (Chika Okpala) ancient house at Owerri and that's how the journey of two strangers begins.
